We can't emphasize enough how unique this textile mixed media wall mount giraffe head is! Made of multi-color fabric pieces that are patchworked together on a well formed giraffe form. The maker of this giraffe has a well defined face with mouth, glass eyes and leather ears. It mounts beautifully on the wall and has a happy expression that draw you in. We could see this giraffe anywhere in a home and business from the study, children's room, game room, office, lodge etc... This piece deserves the creative expression that will always be a conversation piece. This piece originally came from a home near Joshua Tree, CA. The original owner traveled the world and brought this piece home from Africa. We believe the textiles may have been recycled from old chair bands that were used to hold up cushions on chair seats.
