Set of 8 beautiful, classic blonde rounded back cane chairs with white fabric cushions. We are in love with the tighter square style weave cane and distressed patina of the wood finish! The cane on these chairs is in pristine condition with no fraying or issues. The fabric cushions have a little wear, but nothing major at all. One cushions has some paint stain as seen in the photos and one has imprints in the seat that may loosen and spring back over time with use. The fabric reminds us of a fun faux sheepskin wool and has a very modern tufted cream weave that is super cushy and has good texture. Absolutely amazing set for interior seating anywhere in the home. These were originally manufactured by California Furniture Shops "Cal Shops" which is no longer in business. It was said to have rivaled South Carolina manufacturing. During the 50's to 70's they manufactured mostly using Virginia Maple Lumber with Canadian Yellow Birch and then switched to a balance of Maple and Oak in the 80's.
