Carved Mountain Ram Wood Wall Art from Canada (Large and Small Sold Separately)
These carved wood art pieces are incredibly detailed and each one is sold separately. These treasures were hand wittled by a Canadian artist back in the 70's, out of Creston Canada.
Adrian Kromhout was a Canadian woodcarver based in Creston, British Columbia. He is known for his intricate and detailed carvings of birds, animals, and other natural subjects, often created from a single piece of wood.
Kromhout grew up in the Netherlands and immigrated to Canada in 1966. He began carving in the early 1980s and quickly gained a reputation for his skill and artistry. His work has been featured in galleries and exhibitions across Canada and the United States.
Kromhout's carving style is influenced by the Dutch and Flemish carving traditions, which emphasize realism and attention to detail. He often uses a variety of carving techniques, including chip carving, relief carving, and sculpture carving, to create intricate and lifelike depictions of his subjects.
The medium framed piece has a slight separation in the frame as seen in the photos. It features one solo framed long horn ram amongst the trees and mountain peaks.
The large piece has a very dense wood frame and has some weight to it. It features two long horn mountain rams climing down the boulder scrambles. Has a slight surface scrape as seen in the photos.
Each one is signed by the original artist, Adrian Kromhout, who is out of Canada. These pieces are organic and so wonderfully crafted. Perfect for any space in your home. We envision it on a white sunlit wall with modern pieces, dried flower bunches etc. Make each one its own focal point or layer them into a gallery wall to add variety.
