Architectural vintage ceramic vase by Carstens Tonnieshof - made in Germany. This vase has amazing texture and two small handle features on both sides. Features cream, blue, yellows and black. The main designers were: Trude Carstens, Gerda Hauckeroth, Dieter peter and A. Seide. In 1892 the Carstens Tonnishof factory was opened by two Brothers in Reinsberg Germany. The Carstens not only produced vases but lamp bases and other utility ceramics. By the 1970's they had factories in Austria, Australia and South America. The factory closed in 1984 due to financial shortcomings and was never re-opened. These pieces are no longer made. In great vintage condition with some slight wear as seen in the photos. Features the twin house mark with a T over the C on the bottom. Reads: "7644-25" "W: Germany" Measures - 6" L x 7" W x 10" H
