This piece has a beautiful bright light to it! It is not often we find desert landscapes, even though we look high and low for them. This piece caught our eye. Originally painted oil on canvas by Albert Salzbrenner.
Albert Salzbrenner was an itinerant artist who was a resident of Portland Oregon from 1911-1914 and in 1920. He lived in Salt Lake City from 1914-1916 and parts of California in 1917 and 1919. By 1935 he moved to NY.
The frame is in good vintage condition, with a few wear spots as to be expected with vintage items and nail detailing in the corners. The frame is made out of wood and potentially plaster.
The frame has the original name on the back of the framer shop, Simpman Wolfe & Co. in Portland Oregon.
Absolutely stunning and one of a kind! Use it on its own or add it to a gallery wall.
