Woven Scottish Purse with Bakelite style Handle

Measures - 12" L X 4" W X 8" H w/out handle X 10.5" H with handle.

This woven Scottish purse/bag featuring a Bakelite style plastic handle has so much vintage character! The red and white woven pieces are made of almost a plastic/vinyl. It creates a beautiful, checkered pattern that reminds us of old diners! The inside is lined with a plaid cloth. The zipper is still well intact as well as the Bakelite style plastic handle. It would be perfect to use as a daily bag, etc. We love vintage bags as they hold so much character and are unlike bags that are made today! Has a hand written note from the previous owner and has some wear on the inside liner and marks on the outer exterior that could be cleaned off.
