Covina Pottery was a ceramics company based in Covina, California that produced a wide variety of pottery and ceramics in the mid-20th century. The company was founded in 1943 by Dino Massaroni and his business partner Ralph Duarte.

Covina Pottery quickly became known for its unique and colorful designs, which included a range of vases, planters, figurines, and other decorative items. The company's pieces were often inspired by the natural beauty of the California landscape and incorporated elements of mid-century modern design.

One of the hallmarks of Covina Pottery was its use of bright, bold glazes that added a unique and eye-catching element to its pieces. The company also developed its own proprietary clay mix, which allowed it to create pieces with a distinctive texture and feel.

Covina Pottery's popularity peaked in the 1950s and 1960s, when mid-century modern design was at its height. The company's pieces were sold in high-end department stores and boutiques throughout the United States and were highly sought after by collectors.

However, by the 1970s, the company had fallen on hard times, and it eventually closed its doors in the late 1980s. Today, Covina Pottery pieces are highly prized by collectors and enthusiasts of mid-century modern design, and are considered to be an important part of California's rich ceramics history.
