We also have 2 remaining chairs with arms with a gorgeous burlwood style look to the wood.
We love the classic look of vintage Marcel Breuer Cesca chairs with woven cane backs and seats. These are vintage replicas reproduced based on an original seat frame sticker. Some of these chairs have been completely refurbished which has supported our local cane restoration craftsman's small business. Seat weaving and sheet replacement is becoming a dying skill and we would love to keep supporting our next generation of makers!
All of these vintage second hand chairs feature wooden frames that have dovetail edges in various styles and the original chrome bases/frames. These are such amazing chairs and a perfect neutral element that would fit the decor in any space. Some of the chrome bases may have slight oxidation or surface wear as would be expected with second hand items.
Some slight wear as seen in photos but nothing compromising or not to be expected with vintage items.

History of the original Marcel Breuer chair design of 1928 was sold to Knoll Associates in 1968. The three official manufacturers of the chair were: Thonet (from 1927), Gavina (1950s), and Knoll (1960s). There were other manufacturers back in the day that also replicated these chairs so please note that our chairs may not be from the original manufacturers, but they are not current 2020's replicas. We do sometimes find authentic versions from these original makers and they will be noted and will typically be more in cost.
