Upholstered Midcentury Rocking Caterpillar Chairs Made in Portland Oregon (Sold Individually)

These incredible petite midcentury upholstered caterpillar chairs are so unique and amazing. Both have a spring supported feel when you sit and rock. Each chair was originally made by a very old Portland Oregon based company called Montchalin Manufacturing Company. I was not able to find a lot of information about the company and assume it is no longer in operation. Only one chair still has the original tag. 

Both chairs are in EXCELLENT vintage condition with no tears, breaks or issues with any of the elements. The wood handrests have a little surface wear as to be expected with vintage items. We love the classic bubble caterpillar style upholstery style that provides a nice lumbar support all the way across.
