Ashanti Wood Stool Pier 1

Beautiful wooden Ashanti stool featuring a light, natural finish. Ashanti stools were known to be a piece of each person's soul, it has a quite interesting history to it. This one specifically symbolizes a wisdom knot.

This sturdy stool would be perfect in any space. Add this to your bathroom to hold towels, toilet paper, your clothes while you shower, or use it in your living room as a plant stand or a nice footstool! Use it to sit to put shoes on or put it by a tub or chair to set items. Has minor wear that is expected with vintage items and a couple surface scrapes/chips as seen in the photos that add character. Has the original tag/ makers mark on the bottom.  Originally made by Pier 1 which is no longer in business.
