Rossini Italian Pottery was founded in the mid-20th century by Gino Rossini, an Italian artist and entrepreneur. The company was based in the town of Pesaro, located in the central region of Italy known for its long tradition of pottery making.

Rossini Italian Pottery quickly gained a reputation for its high-quality craftsmanship and distinctive style. The company produced a wide range of pottery pieces, including vases, bowls, plates, and decorative figurines, that were characterized by their bold colors, intricate designs, and innovative shapes.

One of the hallmarks of Rossini Italian Pottery was its use of a technique called "millefiori," which involves creating intricate patterns by layering and slicing pieces of colored clay. The technique gave Rossini's pottery a unique, mosaic-like quality that set it apart from other Italian pottery of the time.

In addition to its millefiori pieces, Rossini Italian Pottery was also known for its use of other decorative techniques, including hand-painting, embossing, and carving. Many of the pieces featured motifs inspired by the natural world, such as flowers, leaves, and animals, and were created using a wide range of colors and textures.

Rossini Italian Pottery remains highly collectible today, and vintage pieces are highly sought after by collectors and design enthusiasts. The company continues to produce pottery in the same tradition, using the same techniques and materials that were used by Gino Rossini and his collaborators.
